How do you download and access Axogram?

Find the latest Axogram downloads, supported CAD versions, and access options

This article covers how to access and download Axogram for each supported CAD, which CAD versions are supported, and the latest release notes.

2. Installation Instructions

Open your CAD's section below for detailed installation steps:

2.1. Axogram for SketchUp (Windows)

If you downloaded the plugin directly from the table in section 1.0 or from the SketchUp Extension Warehouse via your browser, you must manually install the plugin as instructed here:

 

Otherwise, you can also download and install it directly from the SketchUp toolbar. Here's how:
 
First, find the Extension Warehouse button in the dropdown menu or as an icon.

Then search for "Lumion" or "Axogram" and install the plugin:

2.2. Axogram for Revit (Windows)

You can download the plugin from the table above or directly from the Autodesk Marketplace.

Then, to install it, make sure Revit is cclosed, then simply run the downloaded .EXE or .MSI file and follow the steps in the Set-up wizard.
It will automatically try to find Revit on your PC. If it's found, you'll see the following screen:

Click on next to begin installation. After that is completed, you'll need to reboot the PC for the plugin to install.

2.3. Axogram for Archicad (Windows)

To install the plugin, make sure Archicad is closed. Then, run the downloaded .EXE from section one above or your %%Lumion Account%%. Then follow the steps in the set-up wizard. 

If you do not see anything, please contact us.

You can check that the version you have installed is the most current version available, as mentioned in the section above:

You are now ready to render your ArchiCAD model in Axogram.

3. Accessing Axogram

Once Axogram is installed, click on the toolbar icon to run it.

The first time it starts, you will see the Terms and Privacy Agreement screen. Make sure to click 'Accept':

Then sign in with a %%Lumion Account%%:

Note: All new users get an Axogram license (free version) automatically added to their account when the account is created.
Users that already have a %%Lumion Account%% will get the license added upon launching Axogram. 

Users that have previously purchased Lumion Studio or Lumion View will get the paid version of Axogram added to their account automatically.

Axogram comes with user-based account management options. This licensing model grants individual Lumion Account holders access to the software and allows for better seat management and usage tracking. Here's how it works:

4. Troubleshooting

If there is a problem with downloadingm installing, or running Axogram, please locate the log text file in this folder on your PC:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\Act-3D\AxogramPlugin

You may see several log files for SketchUp, Revit, or Archicad if you have them installed.

Locate the three most recent log files for the CAD software you are having trouble with.

For example, if you are using Revit, look for the most recent files beginning with:

Revit_

If the files are larger than 0 KB, attach them to your next reply.

5.  Updates 

Version changes will be automatically applied to the Product in your Lumion Account.

Lumion Support Team will advise via the usual channels about (major and minor) version changes:
