1. Lumion 8.3 and newer:
Technical support staff members may ask you for a Lumion Error Log file from time to time when working to resolve a hardware or Lumion compatibility issue.
Please follow the instructions below if you have been asked to provide this file:
1.1: Click on the Settings button, turn Error Logging on and restart Lumion:
1.2: Run Lumion and perform the tasks to replicate the issue.
1.3: Click on the Settings button followed by the Save error log file button. Enter a file name and press Enter:
1.4: Attach the file to a post/topic at the Lumion Support Center - or send the log file to us via email:
2. Lumion 8.0 and older:
2.1: Close Lumion.
2.2: In C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Quest3D, open the most recent folder install for your Lumion version.
Example: "Lumion 8.3_(Numbers)":
2.3: Open the WriteErrorLog file with Microsoft Notepad or other text editor.
2.4: Change the "No" to a "Yes" (without quotations) and save the file.
2.5: Run Lumion and perform the tasks to replicate the issue.
2.6: In the folder C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Quest3D, locate the file error.log. If Windows Explorer does not show file extensions, the file is just called error:
2.7: Attach the file to a post/topic at the Lumion Support Center - or send the log file to us via email:
