[SR] Release License Key
1. Question:
1.1: A user wants their License Key released.
2. Standard Reply:
2.1: Answer:
Hello
Your License Key has been released.
Can you tell us what happened when your License Key got stuck? Were you having problems with Lumion, or was the computer turned off while Lumion was running?
For future reference, you can release the License Key yourself by following the instructions below:
- Knowledge Base: How do you release a Lumion License Key?
Let us know if everything is working as expected now.
3. Guide/Procedure:
3.1: Procedure info:
3.1.1 If they ask to release a License Key urgently, search for their email address (or PC name if they provided that) in the support dashboard https://partners.lumion.com/SupportBoard/Default.aspx
3.1.2 In this example, you would search for [email protected] or DESKTOP-79L2UHL to check if there is a License Key stuck
And you will find this
You can see that 0319-A478A-LUMNFR is in use on my computer (let's pretend that it's stuck).
3.1.3. What you need to do is click on the DESKTOP-79L2UHL entries and click OK to deactivate them (usually there is only 1 or 2 entry to click but since it's my License Key there is more than usual)
3.1.4 Once you cleared all the entries, it will look like this and the License Key will be ready to use
- Internal Knowledge Base: [TR]: How do you release a Lumion License Key?
3.2: Log the release in our tracker (this step is no longer needed):
3.2.1 To do this, go to the Lumion License Key release log.
3.2.2 Insert a row above the last entry (Right-click on the last entry -> 'Insert 1 row above')
3.2.3 Fill in the requested information

ARTICLE SUPPORT (from transfer to HubSpot):
1. Tables:
Tables were not able to be imported via HubSpot Importer. Any Tables in this article are now based on a DIV Conversion. Same is also the case for the transfer of articles with tables in the EKB.
You can add new (basic) Tables in the HubSpot Editor directly.
If the layout does not work, then you can copy/paste or recreate the old Table from ZD. Where possible the Table has also been copy/pasted from the source page (see link below in 3.). Instructions, see this article: Copying an old Zendesk Table over to HubSpot
2. Finding the reference to the old Zendesk Ticket in HubSpot:
Use this Support article: Finding the reference to the old Zendesk Ticket in HubSpot
and for ZD ticket Search in HubSpot following step 1 in above article:
3. Source Zendesk article:
A source and backup copy was made of all articles 9 June 2025.
