[SR] Upgrading and Buying New Prior to a Release

1.1 A user wants to know how the upgrade options work in the period before the release of a new Lumion major version (example: the release of Lumion 11 after Lumion 10)

Hi, I mean to remember that there is a date of which when you buy the new version of Lumion close to a new version being released - there is a discounted upgrade. When is this likely to be for Lumion 11?

There haven't been any announcements about potential discounts for Lumion [//X//] yet so I can only tell you what happened in previous years.

Buying a new Lumion Seat would give you a free upgrade if the new Seat was purchased up to one month before the release of the major annual upgrade. This was usually in October.
'Gradual' discounts also applied if the new Lumion Seat was purchased earlier than that (from July 1 onwards).
