This update improves visual control and rendering accuracy on Mac, with enhancements to the Color Picker, environment settings, and render framing preview. It also addresses a range of issues affecting stability, lighting, and edge rendering for a more consistent experience.

Lumion View is a lightweight yet powerful visualization tool that runs directly in your 3D modeling software as a plugin.
Offering a fast real-time view, customizable Lights, Styles, and enhanced Materials controls, it makes design exploration effortless and enjoyable, helping shape, test, and present concepts with speed and creative freedom.
Note: This release differs from the Windows edition in a key area. Rendering is currently based on rasterization, and ray tracing is not available at this time.

2026.0 Release Notes:
1. Improvements
- Color Picker: Expanded the color picker tool, allowing for more precise color selection, and added eyedropper functionality to sample colors from any pixel on the screen.
- Rendering: Added render area preview. When selecting an aspect ratio for Render to File, the UI now displays a clear preview of the exact framing.
- Rendering: Improved quality of reflections on reflective surfaces.
- Environment: Added sky cloudiness and brightness settings, controllable via sliders in the Environment tab.
2. Fixes
- Stability: Resolved a stability issue that caused the application to crash when closing both Lumion View and SketchUp in rapid succession.
- Rendering: Fixed issue where edges from the Visual Styles tab could shimmer in certain scenes.
- Rendering: Fixed issue where edge color in Lumion View reset to white after making scene changes in SketchUp (e.g., moving or deleting geometry).
- Lighting: Fixed an issue where Lumion lights produced unnatural lighting with sharp edges.
- Rendering: Fixed an issue where renders could not be canceled in ArchiCAD and Revit (the ESC key and cancel button now respond correctly).
