Which domains and ports does Lumion need access to?

- Port 80 is unsecured via HTTP and port 443 is secured with TLS via HTTPS.

⚠️ Important: The domains listed above are service endpoints used internally by Lumion for licensing, downloads, authentication, cloud services, and other functionality. They are not intended to be opened directly in a web browser.
Opening one of these addresses in your browser may result in error messages. These responses are expected and do not indicate a problem with the service or your network configuration. The purpose of these domains is to allow the Lumion application to communicate with our online services in the background.
If you are configuring a firewall or proxy server, simply ensure these domains and ports are whitelisted. It is not necessary to verify them by opening the URLs in a browser. To verify them, follow the steps below instead.
Verifying connectivity
If you want to verify that your computer can reach one of the required Lumion services, open PowerShell and run the following command (replace the hostname if testing a different domain):
Test-NetConnection services.lumion3d.net -Port 443
Expected result (working):
TcpTestSucceeded : True
This indicates that your computer can successfully communicate with the service on the required port.
If the test fails:
TcpTestSucceeded : False
This may indicate that the connection is being blocked by a firewall, proxy server, antivirus software, or network configuration. In this case, verify that the required domains and ports listed in this article are allowed by your network.
Email addresses
Regarding email senders, you should also ensure that the following are whitelisted in your email software, so that you can receive Lumion emails:
