1. Lumion 11 and newer versions

There are 4 ways to select a color from sources outside Lumion 11 and newer versions:

1.1: Enter numbers between 0 and 255 for Red, Green and Blue:

• R: A value for red.
• G: A value for green.
• B: A value for blue.

1.2: Enter numbers between 0 and 100 for Hue, Saturation and Value:

• H: A value for hue.
• S: A value for saturation.
• V: A value for brightness.

1.3: Enter a color in hexadecimal format:

• Colors in hexadecimal format from a source outside Lumion can be copied and pasted into the # field in any of the Color Selection Windows in Lumion.

1.4: Select a RAL color:

• Alternatively, you can select a color from the RAL color scheme. RAL is a color matching system used in Europe that is created and administrated by the German RAL gGmbH (RAL non-profit LLC), which is a subsidiary of the German RAL Institute:

2. Lumion 10.5 and older versions

Colors in hexadecimal format from a source outside Lumion can be copied and pasted into any of the Color Selection Windows in Lumion.

2.1: Please click on the link below if you need to convert an RGB color to a hexadecimal color:

2.2: Press CTRL + C to copy the highlighted hexadecimal color in text format, e.g. "FF0000" (red):

Lumion 7.5 and older: Make sure you only copy the 6 digits/letters - do not include any other characters such as a hashtag (#).

2.3: Move the mouse cursor to the solid bar at the right side of the Color Selection Window in Lumion and press CTRL + V to paste the color.
