2. Here's why:
This problem is caused by one of the following reasons:
- The screen resolution is too low. Lumion requires a minimum screen resolution of 1920x1080.
- Custom app scaling is applied in Windows.
Follow the steps below in Section 3 to fix the resolution.
3. Check if the screen resolution is too low:
Lumion will display an error if:
- The screen resolution is too low:
-
- the DPI scaling is too high:
-
To troubleshoot this:
3.1: Close Lumion.
3.2: Right-click on an empty area of the Desktop and pick ‘Display settings’ (examples shown using Windows 11 unless otherwise stated):
3.3: Change the ‘Display resolution’ to a minimum of 1920 x 1080:
3.4: Also, ensure that, if the ‘Display resolution’ is at 1920 x 1080, the 'Scale' of the display is set to 100%.
4. Check if custom app scaling applies
4.1: Close Lumion.
4.2: See this guide:

or this guide, however, we do not recommend using the steps to edit the Windows Registry.
