When you tried to save a Lumion Project (LS) file you got this message:
error code: 0x4c8 The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.
Your usual practice is to use Save to overwrite the file to the same file name, You do not use SaveAs to create a new version of the Project with a different file name.
Also, if you try using SaveAs and try to save over the existing Project file you can expect the same error because that file is locked and Lumion cannot get write access to it.
The good news is that this error is not caused by Lumion.
Error "0x4c8" is Windows specific and occurs when there is a file overwriting conflict. This means an attempt by other software to overwrite or backup the file is happening.
Most likely, you are experiencing this because of cloud-based software (e.g. OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox) locking the Lumion Project file to sync the file to cloud storage.
Here's how to fix things:
Please try saving your work on a local drive and make sure that the Documents folder is not being backed up while you are working in Lumion.
Ideally, you should pause or disable any cloud-based software during Lumion-related tasks.

You should be able to use SaveAs which makes a new copy of the Project file. However, the same issue will likely occur again when later on when that file is being synched for cloud backup.
