How do you fill the spaces in a wall so they look solid or capped?

The Clipping Planes in Lumion will cut the surfaces but will not fill the spaces between those cut surfaces.

If you want the walls, floors, doors, etc to show as filled objects/solids/capped, then that is possible via this workflow.

This applies to models from Revit, SketchUp and possibly most other CAD models that can be imported to Lumion.  Using either file export to Collada DAE or LiveSync.

The following is an example using Revit 2025.

 

1.  Add a Section Box:

2. Use the Section Box to cut the walls:

3. Import/LiveSync the model to Lumion:

The walls are solids.

 

If you later add a Clipping Plane, then that Clipping Plane will make the clipped/cut without the fill:
