3. Subscription renewals and changes

3.1 How do you change a Subscription to a different term or product?

If you purchased your Subscription online from the Lumion Website, you can change your Subscription product via your Lumion Account. For any further assistance, please contact Customer Care.

If you purchased your Subscription via one of our local Lumion Partners, please contact your point of purchase.

 

3.2 How can a Subscription be renewed?

Your Subscription is set to auto-renew by default if purchased directly from the Lumion Website.

To manage your Subscription, please access your Lumion Account or contact Customer Care. If you purchased your Subscription via one of our local Lumion Partners, please contact them directly for the renewal.

The renewal is available 14 days prior to the expiry of the Subscription term and an additional 14-day grace period is offered after the expiry date.

If your Lumion Subscription is still in the Grace period, it can be renewed after expiration. However, once the Grace period is over, the Subscription becomes Deactivated and you will require to purchase a new one.

Subscriptions purchased through a Lumion Partner can only be renewed by reaching out to them and the Auto-renew option is off by default. 

 

3.3 Can you receive a quote for an upcoming renewal?

Find the pricing details for renewal on the Buy Lumion page or contact the local Lumion Partner.

 

3.4 When and how can a Subscription be canceled?

When you buy a Subscription to Lumion, it will auto-renew after the term expires. You can disable the renewal in your Lumion Account.  If you wish to cancel your Subscription, you may do so during any moment of your term.  However, your Subscription will remain valid until the expiration date.

If you purchase your Subscription via one of our Authorized Resellers/Partner, please reach out to them directly.

If you did not enable auto-renew, your Subscription will automatically end after either one or three years, depending on the plan you purchased.

 

3.5 Is there a refund if a Subscription is canceled before the renewal date?

Purchases of Act-3D software come with a 14-day refund policy. After the 14-day period, we are unable to provide you with a refund should you stop or discontinue your Subscription before the renewal date.

 

3.6 What happens when you don't want to continue using a Subscription?

3.7 Is there a refund for a Subscription purchased a while ago but no longer needed?

The Subscription is valid until the term expires. Refunds are possible within 14 days from the purchase date.

 

3.8 Is a notification sent before a Subscription expires?

You will be notified by email to your registered email address we have in our records.

3.9 Is there a grace period for the Subscription once it has expired?

Yes.

3.10 You let your Subscription expire 2 months ago but now find you need it again. How do you get it working again?

Thanks for your continued interest and plan to use Lumion.

Unfortunately, the grace period for you has now finished and your Subscription License Key has been invalidated.

You need to purchase a new Subscription with a new License Key.

That also means you will need to uninstall the current Lumion version you have and download and install the new one you purchased. You do that via your Lumion Account once the purchase has been completed.

3.11 How can you Merge your Subscription License Keys when they have different subscription end dates?

Subscription License Keys cannot be merged. If you have multiple Subscription License Keys, you can allow one of them to expire and adjust the number of Seats on the other(s).
