The date when your Subscription License Key has been purchased. | This represents the ability to use Lumion for the duration of your Subscription. |
The day of expiry of the Subscription License Key (typically 1 or 3 years after the purchase date). |
The 14 days after the expiry of the Subscription which allows for the usage of Lumion.
|
Not able to use Lumion. Can open Projects created on the same PC. Need a new Subscription to edit Projects. |
1.1: You have access to Lumion when your License Key is Active.
1.2: The status of the License Key may change on the expiry date of the Subscription Period if Auto-renew is not enabled in your Lumion Account.
1.3: The Renewal date is shown in your Lumion Account and is typically the same as the Expiry date. However, a Subscription can also be renewed within the Grace period.
1.4: The renewal is available 14 days prior to the expiry of the Subscription term and an additional 14-day grace period is offered after the expiry date.
1.5: To ensure the smooth running of Lumion we suggest making sure your Subscription is able to be renewed before or on the date of Expiry.

To make sure you have a valid, Active License Key we recommend enabling the Auto-renew option.
2. Before expiry - Auto-renew is On:
- When Auto-renew is On, you will be charged in a 48-hour interval around the date of Expiry for a renewed Subscription. with an equal duration to the one before it.
- This means that the same Subscription period and the Expiry date will be extended for the same one-year or three-year period you previously chose.
- No other action is required unless notified via email by the payment provider (Verifone/2CheckOut).
3. Before expiry - Auto-renew is Off:
3.1: Your License Key displays as Canceled.
You will receive the first notification email two weeks prior to the expiry of your License Key.
3.2: To keep working in Lumion, your License Key needs to be valid/Active.
3.2.1: You need to re-enable Auto-renew until you receive an extension confirmation from the payment provider (a receipt of the transaction from Verifone/2CheckOut).
3.2.2: Or, contact our local reseller/Partner if the option is not available in your Lumion Account.

The Grace Period allows for the usage of the software, including editing and saving of '.LSF' Project files.
4.3: The Grace Period is finished:
Once the Grace Period is up, a License Key cannot be reactivated.
If you decide to purchase a new License Key you will be required to uninstall the old expired License Key and install Lumion with the new License Key purchased either via the

5. How does the Expired mode work?
5.1: Lumion will allow you to open your existing Projects that were previously saved on the same PC as the current installation of the software:
5.2: It will also allow for free navigation in the Project, but no edits can be made. A message will be displayed:
5.3: You are not able to:
- Make modifications to the file.
- Save the file using Save or SaveAs.
- Use the render to output features.
5.4: In short, the available options are:
- Build Mode navigation.

5.6: Use a Different Active License Key:
As the License Key is Active (valid) you can use an installation of Lumion with that License Key on any PC you own to open and work on a Project.
If the Active License Key is for Lumion Standard and your Project was previously saved using Lumion Pro then that will also work:
