4. Lumion Perpetual Licenses

4.1 Can you convert your current Perpetual License to a Subscription License?

It is possible to upgrade your current Lumion Perpetual License to a Lumion Subscription License. Your Perpetual License Key will be 'Upgraded' once you purchase the upgrade, and it is not possible to use that Perpetual License Key and the Subscription License Key at the same time.  For further information see this article:

4.2 Can you still purchase a Perpetual License?

Sorry, but no.  Perpetual Licenses are no longer available, as from 14 February 2023. 

All new License Keys or new Seats, including the option to add a Seat(s) to an existing Perpetual License Key are on a Subscription.

4.3 Can you still upgrade your Perpetual License to Lumion 12 or Lumion 2023/2024 Perpetual?

Sorry, but no. 

All upgrades are now an upgrade from a Perpetual to a Subscription License Key, as from 14 February 2023.

4.4 Can you still add Seats to your Perpetual License?

You can still add Seats to your Perpetual License until the 31st of January 2023. After this date, Seats can no longer be purchased for Perpetual Licenses.

 

4.5 What happens to the Perpetual License you purchased before?

All Lumion Perpetual Licenses remain valid.

If you have made an upgrade to a Subscription License, your Perpetual License will be set to 'Upgraded'.  See the following article.

4.6 What happens to your Perpetual License if you end your Subscription License?

Your Perpetual License will be reactivated. See the article below for more information (section 3.):

 

4.7 Will you still support older versions of Lumion?

The last 3 major versions of Lumion are still fully supported. For versions older than that, there is, unfortunately, no support guaranteed as they no longer receive maintenance or development updates.
